My girlfiend and I were in Fort Lauderdale for three months and found Javiel and the Sweatbox Gym after some online searching.  And what a find it was! Three times a week for three months and Javiel has us in fantastic shape. We learnt so much through his fun style and technique.  Javiel has such a depth of knowledge on all types of fitness and styles and it shows through his methodology and the way he structured his class to us and our needs.  He had us working so, so hard but the strange thing is we loved it and wanted to keep going back for more, simply because you are learning so much, and loving the workout all the more for it.  We wanted to focus on the mittowrk and conditioning and Javiel kept the intensity and variation to a top level.  The Sweatbox itself is a great place to learn, with a mix of people who are all there to workout in a great environment, you need to go there with the  intention of working hard, and with Javiel and the rest of his team you will not be disappointed.  Chris May (Mega Yacht Captain) – London, UK

I originally heard about The Sweatbox Boxing facility from the internet it was near my place and had good reviews as well. I had boxed in the past as a teenager but I wanted to learn from a real professional . Once I started training, Javiel Centeno and I were able to work out a schedule that fit around my off season Football schedule. I wanted to utilize the boxing mentality in the ring and apply it toward the field. Once I started training, Javiel took me through the fundamentals, utilizing basic footwork and combinations and how they relate to football. These same movements I was able to utilize during the season to get off of press man coverage and the endurance from the training allowed me to enter training camp on another level of conditioning. Javiel pushed me to my limits during every training session and constantly challenged me for more all while reinforcing the techniques I’d learned. I felt quicker, stronger, and I actually had stronger hips and shoulders. I would recommend Sweatbox training to outwork anything you have ever done, but for some reason the daily challenge makes you want to come back the next day and see if you can push yourself further. I enjoy my workouts and I continue to train with Javiel and am still using some of the movements on the field during this season. I first visited the Sweatbox Boxing gym after a friend recommended it and told me that I should give it a try.  I hesitated at first because I had only boxed a couple of times before when I was really young but after the first workout, I was hooked.  At the beginning I was just looking for a way to lose some weight and get back in shape.  All my life I have worked out the way most people have, running on the treadmill and lifting weightsbut I realized that I never knew what a real workout was until I join this gym.  In the first 3 months I lost over 27 pounds. I have improved so much that I dare to say that I am in the best shape of my life.  I can see and feel a huge difference in my endurance, strength and most important on my health.  Ever since I started I have seen Javiel personally committed to see each and every one of us reach our goals (which al lot of us have). Taking the time to teach us techniques, providing us with advice in order for us get better every day we are there, and encouraging us to push ourselves.  All of that, while creating a friendly environment in which everybody wants and desires to help and motivate each other.  To be honest I don’t think anything can describe a workout better than what the members of the Sweatbox Boxing gym do.  It is the type of unconventional and extremely challenging workout that pushes you to the limit every day but at the end you feel so accomplished that you simply have to come back and do it again the next day.  So, thank you guys for challenging me every day and allowing me to reach my goals. Never would I have imagined having a personal trainer and working out with a group. For years since high school I would create my own weight lifting/cardio plan and I was just fine with getting results on my own. Two major problems with that are age and complacency. As I got older my frame grew larger and regardless on what gym I joined my workouts were too routine. My first workout at the Sweatbox made me realize that I haven’t even scratched the surface of my true physical potential. For those who don’t know, a boxer’s workout is no joke but look at any fighter and observe the physical results. Javiel creates such a positive and motivating environment, you can’t help but want to do better for yourself each time you come back. “My first encounter with a personal trainer was six years ago after the birth of my third child. The experience yielded positive results but eventually I gradually gained the weight back through poor eating habits and a lack luster fitness regimen. Working out at the Sweat Box can be strangely addictive. Each workout, I ask why am I doing this to myself, but at the end of it I feel Victorious. I immediately noticed key differences compared to what I experienced in the past. “Sweatbox is an amazing fitness program, which not only works on cardio but on muscle strength as well. I had such a great experience attending the classes because I was challenged and motivated. It’s also very educational not only for weight loss, but to the mind and soul. It gave me self confidences that I never knew I had. When I started going to the sweatbox I said to myself this is hard work and I wasn’t sure if I could keep up with the rest of the class knowing how much weight I was carrying, But I had a wonderful trainer and the people around me, kept me moving. Not only did he keep me moving but when I felt like I could not do no more he would say, what a great job I was doing, and moved me along to the next exercise.
